OVERVIEW
Midnight Sun Charters is a boat charter company based in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, that specializes in wake surfing and other water sports activities. In 2022, the company approached our photography and videography agency to capture high-quality visuals of their boats, wake surfing experiences, and the beautiful natural surroundings of St. Thomas.
OBJECTIVE
The primary objective of this project was to capture high-quality photography and videography content that would showcase the brand's boats, wake surfing experiences, and the natural beauty of St. Thomas. The visuals were to be used on the company's website and social media platforms to promote their services and attract new customers.
PROCESS
Our team of photographers and videographers began by conducting research into the client's target audience, brand identity, and the local surroundings. This helped us to identify the key elements that the visuals needed to capture, such as the adrenaline rush of wake surfing and the natural beauty of the Virgin Islands.
Once we had a clear understanding of the client's requirements, we developed a shot list and a storyboard for the photography and videography shoots. We collaborated with the client to select the best boats, wake surfing experiences, and natural surroundings that would effectively convey the brand's message.
During the shoot, we ensured that every shot was carefully composed and lit to highlight the boats' unique features, the excitement of wake surfing, and the natural beauty of St. Thomas. We also used aerial footage to capture stunning views of the island's coastline and beaches.
